For 110 years the London Group have been operating under the objective set out by the founding members – ‘to advance public awareness of contemporary visual art’ with exhibitions ‘containing whenever possible non-members work.’ The Open is an opportunity to honour the founding principles and create a dialogue between both members and non-members.
