The celebratory exhibition Vitrine, marked 11 years of University Collections and showcased significant works by 31 artists who participated in the Cultural Illumination program since its inception in 2004.
Simone Kennedy’s multi-media Mother’s Brain, exhibited in Vitrine, complemented the actual brain of philosopher UT Place, held in the Philosophy Collection, bequeathed to the University in 2000 to mark Place’s revolutionary theory of mind.
